WorldWinner in Florida: Can You Play for Cash?

WorldWinner offers cash competitions in Florida, except for three tournament formats it does not offer there: Progressive, Mega Event, and Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry tournaments.

Florida has cash play on WorldWinner with one carve-out. The company's state availability article says Progressive, Mega Event, and Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry tournaments are not offered for cash in Florida, while other cash tournaments, card games included, remain open. Alabama and Georgia, Florida's only neighbors, both sit on WorldWinner's list with no state-specific limit. A Florida player who is physically north of the line, say on a visit to Georgia, would find the three excluded formats open for cash entry there, and closed again once back in Florida, because the location check applies at the moment of entry. Florida has no state individual income tax. WorldWinner lists three formats it does not offer in Florida: Progressive tournaments, where the prize pool grows with entries; Mega Events, which are large scheduled tournaments; and Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry tournaments. Standard Head-to-Head and multiplayer tournaments are the core of cash play and are not part of that restriction.
