WorldWinner vs 21 Blitz: How They Compare

21 Blitz is one game in one app. The App Store lists Tether Studios, LLC as its seller and describes it as a mix of 21 and Solitaire, with Head to Head games and large multiplayer tournaments run through Skillz. It suits players who want a single fast blackjack-style puzzle on a phone.

WorldWinner offers two blackjack-style titles inside its own catalog. Catch 21 is the near relative: a timed solitaire in which cards from one deck go into four columns to make 21s. Blackjack Peek Payout is a different design, played against a dealer with three visible peek cards and a chip stack that serves as the score. Both sit under one WorldWinner account with more than 30 titles, on the web and in the iOS and Android apps.

21 Blitz and Catch 21 share a skeleton. Tether Studios' rules for 21 Blitz are four lines long: deal cards to make 21 or 5-card stacks, play all 4 hands to avoid busting out, clear back-to-back stacks to score streak bonuses, and keep track of the cards as 1 full deck is played. WorldWinner's help center describes Catch 21 as a 52-card draw pile and four columns, where exactly 21 clears a column, five cards without passing 21 clears it as a Five Card Charlie, and going over 21 busts the column for no points.

The difference a player can verify in advance is the scoring detail. WorldWinner publishes Catch 21's values: 50 points for a Catch 21, 75 for a Black Jack Attack (the Jack of Spades or Jack of Clubs clears any column), 100 for a Five Card Charlie, a 25-point streak bonus, a 100-point No Bust bonus, and a time bonus of up to 1,000 points. WorldWinner also states that the single-step Undo does not break a streak. 21 Blitz's listing confirms that combos, streak bonuses, and a time bonus exist but does not publish their values, and it does not say whether any card acts as a wild. This guide does not describe 21 Blitz's scoring beyond what the listing and developer page state, so players should read the in-app rules first.

Blackjack Peek Payout has no 21 Blitz equivalent. It plays like table blackjack against a dealer who hits on a Soft 17, but every player starts with the same 1,500 score chips, sees three face-up peek cards showing the next cards off the deck, and chooses a chip amount after seeing the opening hand. A Card Counter shows how many cards of each rank remain. The final score is the chip stack plus net wins, and chips are points only. Players who want dealer-style decisions will find that on WorldWinner and not in 21 Blitz.

Both Tether Studios and WorldWinner pitch card counting as the core skill. The 21 Blitz listing calls one full deck a perfect challenge for aspiring card counters, and WorldWinner's own tips for Catch 21 focus on tracking tens, Aces, and the two Black Jacks.

On the deal, 21 Blitz's listing says that in head to head games both players solve the same deck and the player with the most points wins. For Catch 21, WorldWinner gives entrants in the same competition the same game conditions, and WorldWinner's help center states that all players within the same tournament receive the same starting hand, board layout, or cards, with larger tournaments possibly using layouts of similar scoring potential.

On opponents, WorldWinner states that players never face bots and that opponents are matched by a per-game skill rating. Skillz's fairness page says it matches players only against "real human opponents of equal skill." Skillz's support center adds that matching uses ability level and game history, that most games are asynchronous with the same conditions for both players, and that an unmatched game is refunded after 7 days. These are the companies' own statements, and this guide has not audited either system.

The litigation in this category was brought by Skillz against competitors. In Skillz Platform Inc. v. Papaya Gaming, Ltd., No. 1:24-cv-01646 (S.D.N.Y., Judge Denise Cote), filed March 4, 2024, a jury on April 23, 2026 found Papaya liable for false advertising under the Lanham Act and New York General Business Law Section 349 over statements about fair, skill-based play while it used bots, according to the court's later opinion, which also states that Papaya stopped using bots near the end of 2023. That opinion, dated July 27, 2026, rejected Papaya's post-trial motions and awarded Skillz $719 million in disgorgement in place of the jury's $420 million damages figure. PocketGamer.biz reported on July 28, 2026 that Papaya said it was pursuing "all available options, including appeal." Papaya's counterclaims against Skillz, which Skillz Inc.'s SEC filing says included bot allegations, ended on November 21, 2025 when the court granted Skillz summary judgment because Papaya had not offered sufficient evidence of injury.

In Skillz Platform Inc. v. AviaGames Inc., a federal jury in San Jose, California returned a $42.9 million patent verdict on February 9, 2024. Skillz Inc.'s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 reports that this case and a related false advertising case were settled on April 13, 2024 for $80.0 million in total and dismissed. Reuters reported on February 9, 2024 that AviaGames denied the allegations. Neither Tether Studios nor WorldWinner was a party to either case. 21 Blitz uses Skillz's cashier. Skillz's support center lists credit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay for deposits, requires deposited funds to be played in matches once before withdrawal, and tells players to expect withdrawals in 4 to 6 weeks while saying many are processed much more quickly and that Instant and Fast Bank withdrawals are faster. US winnings above the deposited total are sent by paper check. Skillz charges $1.50 on any withdrawal under $10, forfeits bonus cash on withdrawal, and lists a $2.00 monthly maintenance fee after 6 months of inactivity.

WorldWinner's minimum deposit is $5 with no deposit fees, and accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay. The minimum withdrawal is $1.75. Card and PayPal withdrawals can take 7 to 10 business days, checks can take up to 8 weeks, withdrawing forfeits all Bonus Bucks, and the inactivity fee is $3.50 per month once a cash account has gone 6 consecutive months without a login.

Blackjack-style games use playing cards, and both companies publish extra limits for card games. 21 Blitz's App Store listing says prize tournaments are not enabled in AR, CT, DE, IN, LA, ME, and SD. WorldWinner's terms list Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, South Carolina, and South Dakota as states without cash competitions, and WorldWinner lists Catch 21 and Blackjack Peek Payout among its card-style games, which its published availability list says are not offered for cash in Indiana and Maine. What WorldWinner has going for it on the record: two distinct blackjack-style games instead of one, point values and bonus formulas published before a player spends anything, a stated Undo rule, web play, a 7 to 10 business day window for card and PayPal withdrawals, and one account covering the rest of the catalog.

WorldWinner's weak points are the same ones covered across this site. Withdrawals are not fast, withdrawing forfeits all Bonus Bucks, the inactivity fee is $3.50 per month, support is ticket and email only with no live chat, and complaint-site ratings are low (PissedConsumer 1.9, Sitejabber 1.5). For Blackjack Peek Payout, WorldWinner does not publish the timer length.
