WorldWinner vs Betr Arcade: How They Compare

Betr Arcade is one product inside a larger app. Betr's September 2, 2025 press release announced the launch of Betr Arcade as its entry into casual peer-to-peer skill gaming, alongside Betr Picks, a daily fantasy sports game, in a single app with a single wallet. The release says Betr was founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul. Betr Arcade suits someone who already uses the Betr app, or who wants a small set of quick games with entries starting at $1.25.

WorldWinner is a dedicated skill tournament platform. It launched on August 17, 2000, lists more than 30 current titles including licensed brands such as Wheel of Fortune, SCRABBLE Cubes, BOGGLE, and YAHTZEE, and can be played in a browser at web.worldwinner.com as well as in its iOS and Android apps. It suits someone who wants a wider catalog, web play, or those licensed titles.

Both describe skill contests, skill matching, and asynchronous play, and on both the entry fee is real spending and winnings are never guaranteed. This guide is independent and is not operated by WorldWinner or Betr.

Betr publishes rules and point values for each Arcade game in its House Rules, dated September 8, 2025 when read. Its 21 has players place number tiles into columns to reach 21 without going over, with Undo, Hold, Wild Tiles, 5-tile clears, and a Vault Bonus. Crossout 21 has players swipe tiles that add up to 21. 5 Across shows three numbers every five seconds to daub on a card, with 1,000 points per Bingo and minus 100 for a wrong pick. Fruit Match is a swap-and-match game with a coin to guide into a bag.

WorldWinner publishes rules and many point values for its titles in its help center, and this site's game pages report them. The closest pairs are Betr's 21 and WorldWinner's Catch 21, which both build 21s in columns and reward five-card or five-tile clears, and Betr's 5 Across and WorldWinner's Bingo Bingo, which both score daubs and Bingos and subtract points for wrong daubs.

Both run contests asynchronously. Betr's House Rules say a player may be matched with someone who has already submitted a score, or may wait for an opponent. They also say Head-to-Head entries are refunded if no opponent joins before the closure deadline, and Betr's help center puts that window at 72 hours. Multiplayer and Tournament contests on Betr Arcade always settle whether or not they fill, and Betr's terms say prize values are set in advance and are not determined by the number of players or entry fees paid.

WorldWinner states that players never face bots, that opponents are matched by a per-game skill rating, and that players in the same tournament get the same game conditions. This guide reports those statements and has not audited WorldWinner's matching.

Betr's House Rules and help center say Arcade uses skill matching for all Head-to-Head and Multiplayer contests, that skill is rated separately for each game, and that aside from when a new game launches, Arcade does not make material adjustments to matching and does not interfere with player matchups. Betr says its role is to host and manage contests and that it has no influence over outcomes, and it commits to disclosing any material change to its matching system. The House Rules forbid players from using scripts, bots, clock-manipulating software, or memory scanners. The Betr pages reviewed for this comparison do not include a separate statement about house-operated opponents.

This guide did not locate a court record concerning Betr Arcade. Its review covered Betr Arcade's own terms and help pages; it did not review regulatory matters concerning Betr's fantasy sports product, which is outside this comparison.

WorldWinner: the minimum deposit is $5, with no deposit fees. The minimum withdrawal is $1.75, withdrawals return to the original deposit method first, and card, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 7 business days, with checks up to 8 weeks. Withdrawing forfeits all Bonus Bucks.

Betr Arcade: the store listings name PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer, and debit card for deposits and withdrawals, and the terms say Betr may pay a withdrawal by the same method used to deposit and may set deposit limits. Bonuses, including Betr Bucks, cannot be withdrawn; Betr's help center says winnings from contests entered with Betr Bucks are paid as play-through cash. Entry fees are collected at entry and cannot be canceled. The terms set a $4.00 monthly fee on dormant accounts after 18 months with no games, deposits, withdrawals, or contact with support.

WorldWinner's help center lists five states where cash competitions are not offered: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, and South Dakota. It also says Indiana and Maine get no card games for cash, and Arizona and Florida get no Progressive, Mega Event, or Fixed Prize Unlimited Entry tournaments.

Betr's help center table, read on 2026-09-22 and marked as recently updated, lists Arcade as not available in Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Washington, and available in the other states it lists and the District of Columbia. Betr's age rule is 18, or 19 in Alabama and Colorado and 21 in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

The lists differ in both directions. Connecticut, Delaware, and South Dakota are on WorldWinner's no-cash list but are listed as available for Betr Arcade. Arizona, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Washington are listed as unavailable for Betr Arcade but are not on WorldWinner's no-cash list. Its inactivity fee starts after 18 months rather than 6.

Where WorldWinner has the edge: a history going back to 2000, more than 30 titles including licensed brands, web play, a lower starting entry fee ($0.88 against $1.25), Apple Pay and credit card deposits, which Betr's listings and terms do not offer, and cash play in states such as Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, and Tennessee that Betr lists as unavailable for Arcade.

WorldWinner's weak points: withdrawals can take up to 7 business days (checks up to 8 weeks), withdrawing forfeits all Bonus Bucks, the inactivity fee is $3.50 per month after 6 months without a login, the Android app is not on Google Play, support is ticket and email only with no live chat, and complaint-site ratings are low (PissedConsumer 1.9 and Sitejabber 1.5).
