WorldWinner vs Solitaire Smash: How They Compare

Solitaire Smash does one thing: timed Klondike solitaire tournaments in a mobile app. According to its App Store listing, the developer is Play Perfect and the seller is Play Perfect Ltd. It suits someone who wants only solitaire on a phone and values a very large base of App Store ratings.

WorldWinner is a broader platform. It launched on August 17, 2000, lists more than 30 current titles, and runs on web, iOS, and an Android direct download. Its Klondike game is Solitaire Rush, alongside FreeCell, Spider, and Pyramid titles. It suits someone who wants several solitaire variants and other skill games under one account.

Solitaire Smash is Klondike. Its App Store listing describes building four foundations from Ace upward, descending alternating-color columns, an undo option, a time bonus for finishing faster, and tournaments in which "the top three players" win cash or gems. The listing says the game is the same whether it is played for virtual currency or cash.

Solitaire Rush is WorldWinner's timed, point-scored version of Klondike. WorldWinner's help center lists 10 points for each card revealed, 10 for each card played from the deck, and 50 points for an Ace on its pile, falling by 5 per card to a floor of 5, plus a time bonus. WorldWinner also offers FreeCell Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, and Pyramid Solitaire Lucky 13s, plus word, puzzle, bingo, card, and sports titles.

Formats differ too. WorldWinner runs Head-to-Head games, multiplayer tournaments, and larger event formats. WorldWinner says cash tournament entry fees start as low as $0.88, with lower-priced tournaments during promotions. Typical entries run up to $5, and premium tournaments cost $10 or more. Solitaire Smash does not publish an entry-fee range in the sources checked.

Both companies say players get the same deal. The Solitaire Smash listing says players are matched with others at the same skill level, "all using the same deck". WorldWinner's corporate site says Solitaire Rush players receive the same card layout, and its help center says all players within the same tournament receive the same starting hand, board layout, or cards, with stated exceptions for larger tournaments.

The companies describe opponents differently. Solitaire Smash's Terms & Conditions, last revised May 11, 2026, state that a player "may be matched with another player's Historical Playthrough" and that the profile shown for a Historical Playthrough "will be generated by Play Perfect; it will not be the profile of the player whose record was used". The same terms say every player in a competition plays under the same game setup parameters, and that a player who beats the other scores wins the prize whether the opponent was live or recorded.

WorldWinner states that players never face bots. It also explains that most of its tournaments are asynchronous, meaning opponents play the same layout at different times. This guide reports each company's wording and has not audited either system.

Its terms say Play Perfect may change the minimum withdrawal amount, withdrawal methods, and withdrawal fee at its discretion, that processing of requested funds "may take up to ninety (90) days", and that a withdrawal forfeits any Bonus Funds in the account. The terms do not publish a typical processing time, and actual times may be much shorter than the stated maximum.

For WorldWinner, the minimum deposit is $5 and WorldWinner charges no deposit fees. The minimum withdrawal is $1.75. WorldWinner's terms allow a $1.75 processing fee on check requests under $10. Card and PayPal withdrawals can take 7 to 10 business days, and checks up to 8 weeks. A deposit is required before withdrawing, and withdrawing forfeits all Bonus Bucks.

Both charge for dormant balances. Solitaire Smash's terms reserve a $2.00 monthly maintenance fee after six consecutive months without entering a competition, with an email notice after five months. WorldWinner's inactivity fee is $3.50 per month once a cash account has gone 6 consecutive months without a login. WorldWinner's fee is the higher of the two.

Solitaire Smash's terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel and include an arbitration agreement for United States residents. Readers should read the dispute terms of either service before depositing.

Solitaire Smash's App Store listing and its terms both name the same prohibited states for cash tournaments: Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, and South Carolina. The listing says residents of those states can still play with virtual currency.

WorldWinner's terms list six states where cash competitions are not offered: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, South Carolina, and South Dakota. For solitaire specifically, WorldWinner's published game-type limits matter: Indiana and Maine: no card games for cash.
