WorldWinner Troubleshooting: Fixes for Common Problems

The short answer

Most WorldWinner problems have a published cause. A rejected withdrawal is usually a check under $10 or to a non-US address, and the money returns to the balance. A false restricted-state message usually means location services are off or a VPN or private browser is on. A locked account is often a Restrict Account period nobody can shorten, and a pending result means the tournament has not closed. Account-specific issues go to WorldWinner Player Services.

Common WorldWinner problems at a glance

This is an independent guide with no access to WorldWinner accounts, so it can explain what WorldWinner publishes about a problem but cannot see or change anything on a specific account. The table matches the most common problems to the cause WorldWinner's help center gives, the fix it suggests, and who can actually resolve it.

Login errors, password resets, and verification codes are covered in more depth on the account help page.

Rejected, reversed, or rerouted withdrawals

WorldWinner's help center explains that a withdrawal set to process as a check is rejected and returned to the account when the check amount is under the $10 minimum, or when it would go to an international address, because WorldWinner cannot mail checks to non-US accounts. The funds are credited back, typically within 14 days, and appear on the Account Statement as a Withdrawal Reversal.

Checks happen more often than players expect. Withdrawals return to the original deposit method first, and card and Apple Pay deposits can only be credited back up to the amount deposited that way; anything above that is paid by check. WorldWinner's own example: a player who deposits $10 by Visa, wins $50, and withdraws $30 gets $10 back on the card and $20 by check. PayPal and Venmo do not carry that limit, which is why WorldWinner recommends depositing with either one.

Three rules explain most other withdrawal complaints. Players cannot choose which payment method receives a withdrawal. A withdrawal cannot be cancelled, changed, or rerouted once requested, so a player who has lost access to the receiving card or account must contact that provider. And any withdrawal forfeits all Bonus Bucks. Card, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay withdrawals can take up to 7 business days, and checks up to 8 weeks.

"You are in a restricted state" when you are not

WorldWinner must detect a player's location before cash play, and it states that a player who has not allowed location detection may be unable to deposit, enter cash tournaments, or redeem Reward Points, exactly as if they were in a restricted state. It is the first thing to check when a restriction message looks wrong.

WorldWinner's help center suggests these fixes, in order: confirm the state or country is not actually restricted; turn on or adjust location services; disconnect any VPN and start a new session; stop using private browsing; then restart the device after 60 seconds, clear its cache, switch location permissions off and on, reset Wi-Fi, or try another device. It also notes that a player close to a restricted state or country can connect to a cell tower or Wi-Fi hotspot located there, and suggests contacting the internet service provider in that case.

WorldWinner states that VPNs and private browsing are not supported, and its terms allow it to block players who use a proxy or other method to conceal their location, or whose location it cannot accurately verify. Eligibility follows where the player physically is, so a genuine restriction applies while visiting or passing through one of the five states WorldWinner lists without cash competitions: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, and South Dakota.

Locked, suspended, or closed accounts

A locked account is often self-imposed. WorldWinner's Restrict Account setting blocks access for 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or permanently, and WorldWinner states that once submitted, the restriction cannot be shortened, paused, or undone by the player or by Player Services. A permanent restriction forfeits all available balances.

Inactivity is not a lock, but it changes the balances. WorldWinner treats an account not accessed for 180 consecutive days as inactive: Bonus Bucks and Reward Points are set to zero, and a $3.50 fee is taken from the cash balance for each month of continued inactivity until it reaches zero.

Accounts closed by WorldWinner for violating its terms are handled by its Fraud and Risk Department at fraud@worldwinner.com. WorldWinner's published rules allow one account per person and up to two per device, IP address, or physical address, and bar sharing an account or its winnings. A player who deleted their own account can ask for it to be reopened by emailing playerservices@worldwinner.com. This guide cannot predict the outcome of any review.

Pending results, frozen games, and double charges

Most WorldWinner tournaments are played at different times rather than live, so a result stays pending until the other entrants finish. WorldWinner says most tournaments fill and close within 48 hours of the first completed entry, and that the biggest factor is how many players of similar skill are playing that tournament type. It suggests trying a different tournament type or game if results are slow. Open tournaments appear under In Progress on the Results screen.

A related message appears when a player has too many tournaments open. WorldWinner caps how many cash tournaments of the same type can be open at once, with the limit varying by game, tournament type, and account, and new entries of that type are blocked until some close.

If a game freezes or fails during a cash tournament, WorldWinner says the player may be eligible for an entry fee refund and must request a game review: open a Help Ticket through Contact Us, choose Entry Fee Refund Request (Game Review), and give the game name and Tournament ID, ideally with screenshots or video. WorldWinner states a refund may be denied if its game logs show no server malfunction or if the player closed the entry.

A charge that seems to appear twice is usually an authorization hold. WorldWinner explains that a declined card deposit can leave a pending hold for the attempted amount that takes up to 10 business days to release (up to 30 for gift and prepaid cards), and that a $1 hold may be placed on a card the first time it is used. Deposits cannot be cancelled once made. WorldWinner's terms require disputes over unauthorized charges to be raised within 180 days.

Expired or missing Bonus Bucks and Tickets

Bonus Bucks disappear for two published reasons. They expire after 6 months without logging in, and any withdrawal forfeits all of them, whatever the withdrawal amount. WorldWinner's help center adds that redeeming Reward Points for a gift card does not affect the Bonus Bucks balance.

Tickets, which give a discounted entry fee, expire 24 hours after they are awarded or claimed. WorldWinner also notes that its Daily Login Bonus is no longer offered to every account, and that no manual adjustments are made per account.

This guide cannot restore any balance, and questions about a specific account go to Player Services. The bonus page explains how Bonus Bucks work before they are spent.

Is WorldWinner down?

This guide found no public service status page in WorldWinner's help center, so the practical test is whether the problem follows the account or the device. WorldWinner's troubleshooting articles suggest trying another platform first (the web version, the iOS app, or the Android app). If one works, the problem is local.

For a local problem, WorldWinner recommends restarting the device, closing other apps, updating the browser or app, meeting its minimum requirements (iOS 18 or later, Android 10 or later), using Wi-Fi rather than cellular data on Android, and using Firefox, Chrome, Edge, or Safari on a computer. On a phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the latest app version is the next step.

If the problem continues across devices, open a Technical Support ticket. WorldWinner asks for the device name and version, the operating system version, and the browser or app version, which speeds up the reply.

Who to contact for each problem

WorldWinner support runs through help-center tickets and info@worldwinner.com. There is no live chat. Specific issues have specific routes, listed in the table. Payment providers handle anything that has already left WorldWinner, such as a withdrawal to a card the player can no longer access.

WorldWinner contact routes as published in its help center and on its corporate contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Why was my WorldWinner withdrawal rejected or reversed?
WorldWinner rejects check withdrawals under the $10 minimum and checks that would go to a non-US address. The money returns to the WorldWinner balance, typically within 14 days, and shows on the Account Statement as a Withdrawal Reversal. Depositing with PayPal or Venmo avoids check withdrawals.
Why does WorldWinner say I'm in a restricted state when I'm not?
Usually because location services are off, a VPN or private browser is in use, or the device is connecting through a tower or hotspot in a restricted area. Turn on location, disconnect the VPN, leave private mode, and start a new session. If it continues, contact Player Services.
Why was my WorldWinner account locked or suspended?
The common published causes are a Restrict Account period, which no one can shorten once submitted, or a closure for violating the terms, such as holding multiple accounts. Violation closures are handled by fraud@worldwinner.com. Inactivity is different: after 180 days without access, WorldWinner sets Bonus Bucks and Reward Points to zero and starts a $3.50 monthly fee on the cash balance, but does not describe the account as locked.
Why is my WorldWinner tournament result still pending?
The other entrants have not all played yet. WorldWinner says most tournaments close within 48 hours of the first completed entry, and that tournaments stay open longer when fewer players of similar skill are playing. Trying a different tournament type or game can help.
Is WorldWinner down right now?
This guide cannot check WorldWinner's servers and found no public status page in its help center. Try another platform, such as the web version if the app fails. If WorldWinner fails on every device, open a Technical Support ticket with your device, operating system, and browser or app version.
My WorldWinner game froze mid tournament, do I get a refund?
Possibly. WorldWinner says players may be eligible for an entry fee refund after a technical failure, but only through a game review. Submit a Help Ticket under Entry Fee Refund Request (Game Review) with the game name and Tournament ID. A refund can be denied if the logs show no server malfunction.
WorldWinner says my Bonus Bucks expired, why?
Bonus Bucks expire after 6 months without logging in, and any withdrawal forfeits all of them. Tickets are separate and expire 24 hours after they are awarded or claimed.
Who do I contact if WorldWinner won't pay me?
Start with a Help Ticket or info@worldwinner.com, and include the withdrawal date and amount from the Account Statement. Many delays are a check in progress, which can take up to 8 weeks. If the account was closed for a rules violation, WorldWinner directs players to fraud@worldwinner.com for a review.
